WHAT WE DO
Animal Rescue
Kenway’s Cause solely focuses on animal welfare within the city of Hartford, CT. We work closely with the City of Hartford Animal Control and will step in and assist when an injured stray is found.
Medical Assistance
Kenway’s Cause works to take in and cover the cost of medical treatment for rescued animals.
We also assist residents of the City of Hartford who are struggling financially to care for their pets. We can provide everything from basic supplies like food and toys, to covering the cost of medical procedures like vaccinations and spay/neuters.
Animal Adoption
Once an animal is in our care, our team of volunteers works to thoroughly screen potential adopters for the animals that we take in. Since our inception in 2011, we have found forever homes for hundreds of pets.
